The 2008 Order of Merit Scoring system

Non-members are not listed in the Order, only fully paid up society members are eligible to score Order of Merit points and win the prizes. If a guest subsequently joins as a member, then the Order of Merit will be recalculated to ensure they score all points they are due.

The order of merit is calculated by awarding points to the top 10 playing members in each event. The best 5 event scores in the season are used to determine each players position in the Order of Merit.

One extra point is awarded to each of the winners of the Nearest the Pin, Nearest the Pin on 2nd shot and Longest Drive competitions at each of the 8 Singles competitions.
